We are certainly thinking about this! Drop kids off with grandparents on route across Brittany, too. Perfect.

Why wait til 2014?

The OKs have their European Champs at this venue next year. Probably not going to be CVRDA ish so needless to say, me and ye olde 1211 will not be attending. Besides, it's far too north and cold.

Missing you all.

I was having a chat with the guy who is trying to organise this and he is very keen on attracting the older boats too.

He was very receptive to the idea of a handicap adjustment for older boats, especially if he is given a rough guide on the differences.

Does sound like a fun event.

We went a couple of years ago for the Feva worlds and thought it was a very pleasant venue, quite a calm sea protected by Quiberon. We made the mistake of going via eurotunnel and it was a very very long drive through France as a result. The sensible people went on the Portsmouth St Malo ferry.

It does sound good and I'm potentially interested. We'd probably go Eurotunnel as the cost of van and boat on the St Malo crossing is far more than the extra fuel, as we use our Tesco clubcard reward vouchers for Eurotunnel - haven't paid for the last four crossings. Start saving the points!
