Many people will remember this lovely Fleetwind....now for sale on Ebay.
This boat has a really good CVRDA history and you will see some photos of it taken at Roadford for a CVRDA event.

Anybody recognise that monstrous big cat in the background......I reckon that was the year that Al scared us all 's*i*less on a ludicrously short startline.

Re: CVRDA Fleetwind on Ebay
Hi Ed
Thats my Shearwater that Phil Razey borrowed. Yes I remember the stupid short close to the shore startline. When the gun went we started from being held head to wind by crew standing in the water after the fleet had cleared as there would have been chaos had we gone on time. The transom of the Shark may have even been on the beach.
Cheers Al

You were scared? We were in the Tideway getting lapped at close quarters, though we did get a tablecloth out and have tea while racing.Ed wrote:.I reckon that was the year that Al scared us all 's*i*less on a ludicrously short startline.
