I will be coming with Trish so that will be two for meals - I'll be B&B-ing. BUT I wonder if you could possibly arrange a crew for me Nessa from your plethora of youthful Hunts talent. Unfortunately Pete who has sailed Nats with me the last few years can't manage this year. OR if there is anybody out there who would like to crew for me and not bringing a boat - please get in touch. Trish's back problem prevents her sailing for the forseeable future. Looking forward to the event - it looks as if there should be a cracking turnout.

We are now booked into the Golden Lion, down the road in St Ives. That way I might manage 3 days of sailing. It is walking distance.

Sorry Nessa,

Wont be attending this year. Bit gutted but other things have crept up.

Hope it all goes well, sure it will.

Hi Nessa,
I am still planning to come although still not sure which boat I am bringing. It will partly depend on A. What is ready to sail and B. What boats other people are bringing as it would be nice to race against someone in the same class.
I will be in the motorhome with Wendy and Baxter (the dog) assuming that this isn't going to be a problem. We aim to travel across on Friday evening so I am hoping that we will be able to get in ok?
Regards

I seem to remember that dogs are welcome, as are wives and moterhomes!

Dogs allowed on leads, but not in the clubhouse. Early arrivals welcome, just let me know so I can let you in!

I think that Ruperston is using the mint turquoise mystery moth, and the yoof is using the magnum 5 (if he fixes it) but I may still have the ToY available if I can fix the seat and the classic moth if I can fix it. Let me know if there is interest in using the ToY.

Town centre is just five mins walk away, as is the guided bus route into Cambridge so lots to do for support crew.

I'll let him know and show him the pictures!

He came 2nd in the race he took part in at Whitefriars yesterday in the Lightning (I was too busy chatting and drinking cider, and missed it, but in the training we did in the morning, he was right up there), so there appears to be plenty of light wind boat speed - be warned...

Hi, Nessa
This is a copy-across from the Minisail forum - can I book in plus Minisail, please? (MiniSprint 6874)

I'd like to camp, if possible on Fri/Sat/Sun nights - is that possible?Regards, David

Nessa - any chance that our daughter, Amy, could borrow a CVRDA eligible boat for the Nationals. She'd prefer a single hander and is an experienced sailor.

Nessa, it looks like the daughter will be disappearing off with her godmother (who lives in Cambridge) whenever she gets the chance, so Charlie will be sailing with Kathryn in the Firefly now. Sadly, they will probably be unstoppable...

That should free up a boat for Amy to take out!

Charlie would (and so would I!) love to book a sail in a Moth or 2 over the weekend, though, please.
