Did I hear a rumour whilst at Bowmoor that there might be a Grafham event coming up. Great Hornet venue.
Hornet 191 Shoestring,
Hornet 595 Demon awaiting restoration
Hornet 610 Final Fling
Hornet 353

There is a possibility, that is all. Hope so, though!

I also enjoyed Bowmoor, even after I pulled out the centreboard winch block.....with my bare hands! What strength! Chris didn't even swear!
Personally I liked staying in a hotel for a change, very civilised, to dine and retire in the same hostelry. I felt very rested. Sometimes one night's camping hardly seems worth the effort. (that's the older person in me speaking out!)Anyway I do think a frostbite event combined with a dinner is a good social event which people will travel to.

Grafham would be good for the canoe too, new born may be a little of a hinderance to the plans though. We'll have to wait and see. Really want to do the canoes in Weymouth in August - If I've learnt how to sail it by then !!!!!
The only canoe sailor in MY village too !
