Which metal?

Which weight?

The early Fairey plates were common with the Jollyboat, Swordfish and I think.....the Falcon. (might be wrong on that)
They are an extension in shape from the Firefly, which is just a shorter version.

They were galvanised steel and came in two weights: 'Very very heavy' and you 'have got to be kidding'

Later, there were aluminium plates made and used, however these are rare and I would kill to find one at a reasonable price.

I can most probably dig out a galvanized plate of the 'very very heavy' type, which you could have for the scrap weight value.

Afraid I am down in Cornwall, but might be able to get it as far as Bristol if that helps.
