Just a quick progress report...
It always feels good to get the first coat on to see the timber come to life...
A first very dilute coat on the inside, Plenty of work still on the outside to do.

That cannot be the same wreckage you showed me a couple of years ago, surely?

Well done, that man.

Yes it is but whether it is a boat or a sieve might be another matter.

Rupert - surely you realise that a sieve uses gravity to allow water out. A boat uses gravity to allow water in!!

Chris,

You are not thinking of taking on an apprentice are you?

I might be available next year.......I might also have an 'apprentice piece' to practice on.....

Cheers

I saw her last night for the first time for some time and all I could say was Wow. She really does look spectacular.

Hard to believe she is the same boat that hid in Chris shed hoping he didnt have the heart to break her up. Thankfully he is the man for the job and has done her full justice. I cant wait to see her at Shearwater, hopefully she will float long enough to get some pictures of her. :D
