Certainly planning to. Probably in the Firefly.

I don't think I will have the Canoe ready (Still need to strip and varnish the hull,) and certainly not enough mileage to make me a "safe" sailor in it.

I'll be at the Lightning Nats that weekend, sadly.

I am hoping to go down to Bosham again this year having missed last year due to the early date clashing with other things. This year's date fits in a lot better so planning to take the Shelley provided I don't break anything serious at Clywedog.
I still need to sort out a good place to park the motorhome that isn't too far away. We stayed at Cobnor last time, but it wasn't that handy and I'd prefer to launch from the club this time.
Cheers

Ian contact the club, I know Pat and Sandy parked on a member drive the first year. They are very accomodating.

We'll be there again. Contact Andrew Young if you need help with accommodation or van parking.
The booking form on our Bosham event page emails him or use http://classicboatrevival.co.uk/contact/

Susan and I will be there and 'working' in one capacity or another.

It is such a good event that I'm hoping to make it a 'headline' even for the mag!

So, for all you budding Andy Warhol's out there, your 15 minutes of fame could be on the waters of Chichester Harbour!

Where is everyone camping? I haven't heard back from Andrew yet but if we have to be "out of town" then let's all be on the same site. If we're at Cobnor we'll take the zodiac inflatable to run across to the club in or maybe bring two vehicles and run back and forth in the car leaving the camper on site and the boat at Bosham.

According to the poster, I'm judging the Concours again!

Quick Ian, slap another coat of varnish on the Shelley!

Light on Saturday but we got three races after delaying then on Sunday just enough wind to take us down to the race area and leave us there so we all got towed back.
Concourse was won by Fireball 6 (original Fireball with no trapeze, no kite and no spreaders)
Brightlingsea One Designs dominated the medium fleet.
As it was also a De May series Merlin event there were quite a few Merlins and the fast fleet winner was a thirty year old one from Blithfield sailed by the vice-commodore's son.

Thanks Pat, I look forward to the write up.

Glad to hear the BODs are doing well but I wish there were more EODs and TEODs around. Being a patriotic native of Leigh I've always thought they were a much better boat!
