Strikes me as a little unfair as you have had previous experience Chris. Will arrive Saturday lunchtime all being well. Trish will not be there however so I shall camp/sleep in the car which means beer can be taken. Gannet is coming with two options. Either wood mast/cotton sail or dacron sails/ally mast option depending on conditions at capsize corner. Always lovely at Clywedog. Food options for Saturday and Sunday Keith? Is there lunch and evening food both days? I assume we bring our own breakfasts as in the past. Only so as I can plan. Cheers.

We're planning to arrive Friday and hope to have an extra couple of non-sailors B&B-ing nearby.

Yes BBQ if weather is kind.

We will have burgers/sausage/steaks in freezer for purchase to cook..

Salad and rolls also in stock.

It is a long way to shops so will save you a trip.

Any amount of DIY is fine, I'm sure, when it comes to cooking/eating! There will be 4 of us needing food. Sounds like you have the meat covered - I'll bring something veggie.

I've never been to the end of the lake, so I vote for that option - might need to tow Pippa in the Puffin at some points, though...

If the weather is too bad for that, then beating up Picos would mean not breaking our own boats before the racing starts!

We are planning on getting there on Friday morning. Jane has broken her toe so cannot get about very well so I'm hoping to get as near to the clubhouse as I can.
I'm also hoping to bring my new boat, a very old design, should sail off about 144.

Not many classes at that end of the range, even historically. A Poole AB dinghy?

Wishful thinking more like...

Mind, could be an old clinker boat with lug sail?

Why not the Finn?

Update on catering.

We have firmed up on a few things

Beef Bolognese on Sat ( we have pizza and other veggy options)

Sunday I will order Beefburgers and Sausages and we can barbecue. Ladies will do salads and potatoes.

Our ladies are doing cakes/puddings/scones etc so we are looking good.

Just a bit short on galley slaves

Hope the wind drops a bit our very experienced laser guys gave in today!!!

I will be arriving Friday leaving Stafford at about 17:00. Bringing the tent and also Kris who those at Blithfield will have met has volunteered to come and take photos/video.

My crew and her Mum and Dad will be arriving on Saturday and also camping. What time are the on water plans commencing so we can set arrival times?

Also just to check are dogs allowed on site?

Cheers
