Re: Enterprise questions.
I have noticed I have 3 numbers on this boat,
Sail number, but presumably the Sails could be from any boat,
a number burned into the wood inside the boat, this is 3 thousand less than Sail number,
their is also a number on a plastic plaque, which also contains a mould number,
which is probably the correct number ?

Re: Enterprise questions.
It is usually a bit of hose pipe!
Re: Enterprise questions.
'friction brake' rings a bell as a name.
Re: Enterprise questions.
20 years ago you didn't becasue even then you controlled the leach tension with a powerful kickertrebor wrote:How do you use the traveller on the back of my enterprise ?
Their is a track across top of transom with a bracket that can be moved from side to side, pulling a piece of string, this can be locked in position with clamcleats.
Would you use this all the time even on a small pond ?
I am assuming this is a performance enhancing device.
the track is there becasue the rules require it especially with the high tiller port transom pattern
the car used to be locked in the middle with rivets .
Re: Enterprise questions.
on a fibreglass ent it should be on one of the thwarts ona wodden on on the transomtrebor wrote:I have noticed I have 3 numbers on this boat,

Thanks mph,
I have adopted number burned into thwart.
I think the car is already riveted in place, I have now fitted a 16 to 1 kicker, next job is to convert to centre/aft main.
