X traveller car.

Post by jpa_wfsc »

traveller Car needed for 'x' track.

Alternatively a 2 foot ish traveller complete with a car, any make considered.

It exploded a few years ago, and the boat (Skol Moth MkII) is not happy without it! That was a moment - Gybe - bump - plop!! That was a big fish - capsize - no it wasn't it was some of my boat!!

Hi John,
Any idea what make the original traveller was i.e. Holt, RWO, IYE, Fico etc?
I might have something that would fit, but it would help to know either the make or the dimensions of the track.
A photo or sketch of the end of the track might help me identify the manufacturer so that I can hunt around for a matching car.
Regards
Ian

Hi John,
It sounds as though you're sorted now with the track and car from Graham.
I had a look at your pics on facebook and the track you have doesn't match any of the examples I have, however, the concave upper surface looks similar to the IYE track. It may well be an earlier version that was gold anodised unlike the later silver version that I have. Anyway, I have found three different cars that might fit your existing track: IYE, Ermat and RWO. If you want to try any of these before you start drilling holes for a new track then please let me know and we can work out a way of getting them to you.
Cheers
Ian

Hi John

If you want to email me, I can send you pictures of the track. They are too big to upload here.
