MOTHS AT ROADFORD

Post by alan watson »

Hi All Mothies

Is anyone apart from myself coming to Roadford ? - I hope so.

I am bringing my Magnum 8 - sadly in need of work both basic and cosmetic - although all leaks cured now I believe ( tempting providence).

I have also bought the Iperium Scow "Boulabong" - recently advertised - and collected yesterday ( with great trauma due to v crowded motorway and fully booked ferry) - which I will also bring.

Cunning device to go faster than normal tiny electric motor in the dagger board !!! ( No comments please about mast verticality in a skyward direction being fastest) !!!!!

Cheers

Hi Alan,

Yes, been booked up for months. Looking forward to showing you the way round again

Hoping to bring Dyneema Dave and Stuart with me from Greensforge, Sam may have to sit this one out.

A sneaky Imperium Scow? is this the new secret weapon for "falling off the magnum" conditions???

cheers

Hi Guys
The Flying Moth restored by Kevin will be attending. I don't know whether it will be sailing.

Reckon it will be.....even if we have to put Kevin in it and push it out.

if he doesn't, I certainly will!

Maybe I should put the Stealth on top of the double stacker, not officially a moth but....

Hi Nessa,

We can have a saw ready, will soon make it measure

Do you still have room on trailer for that moth mast (and was there a boom left over?)

Thanks

I will attempt to find them and load them on. We are bringing a double trailer so should be ok.
