Its a shame the Falmouth museum isn't anywhere near as good.

Where did the collection go when it was closed or is it now scattered.

Andrew Thornhill took it on, a lot is in a marquee on the waterside of Lake Lothing in Lowestoft, gently rotting, lots of good 14;s and Merlin Rockets, the rest is scattered, some of it National 12 no1 and Enterprise no 1 were renovated and has smart new sails last seen at Wroxham actualy sailing.

I think Ent one, Nat12 no 1 and more are on loan to the racing and river boat museum at Beale Park

This was Wroxham a few years ago with N12 1, Ent1, Merlin 1 was also on the water.

I see that the collection at Beale Park is actually part of Andrew Thornhill's collection rather than exhibits on loan.

"The boats on display in the Racing & River Boat Museum are part of a much larger collection, one of the most notable collections in the country, the EISCA collection (Eyemouth International Sailing Craft Association)."

If you get onto the historic small boat register website and use EISCA as a search word you see what is listed.

I went to the opening a couple of years ago of the Beale Park museum. Many of the boats I worked on for AT are there, and some of the Exeter boats, but it is too small be house very many of anything, sadly. Really enjoyed my 2 visits, though.
