And I also liked 'all you need is some grease on the brake linings'. Is that why he couldn't stop it on the slipway and had to run after it?

Their was a very similar one on ebay that was discussed on here, but this one detached from its caravan chassis when on water.
Very brave/reckless to push a heavy caraboat on main road and then into water.

We used to launch a Winkle Brig at Rutland by reversing hard down the slipway, one child on the boat together with electric outboard. Other child on the jetty. When the water touched the trailer wheels the child on jetty would scream, I'd stamp on the brakes and the boat would hurtle off the trolley and out onto the reservoir. Scary but effective.
I won't detail how we used to launch the same boat onto Rudyard Lake with our camper but will try and find a pic.
