She does look VERY lovely! Just a small suggestion - as the Ent is deck stepped, I would suggest that you consider replacing the forestay tail with some non stretch rope, or with a bottle screw. Otherwise you can get a scary amount of mast movement in a seaway and . or strong wind.

Thank you, but when I attach the jib, and tighten it using the Highfield lever, there is little tension on the forestay anyway, so I 'think' this should not be a problem ?

no you don't, as the forestay on an Ent is there to support the mast when the boat is not rigged

even fairly aged wooden Ents run with several hundred pounds of jib luff wire tension via wire/ rope halyard and a highfield lever .
