I have been looking for something and have come across an I14.
But I don't want to pull 130kgs up a launch slope/beach!

Well dont know what happened to that Minisprfint on here, never heard another word on the subject, or its possible delivery,(strange folk just as well as it happens,, anyway since going all the way up to Whitby to purchase Harrier plus one (number 5) on Keith Callaghan's recomend I doubt I will be sailing it in the foreseable future, after a motorcycle accident.
It is currently on Preloved.
Also Chris when you came here and rejected my Firefly mast, seeing the two Minisail Hulls also outback, was I dreaming, or did I hear you say something along the lines you never really regarded Minisails as proper boats  when they rock up at events(horses for courses)

No rivets or clinker, not a proper boat. Thank God.

Decided as my Harrier plus 1 is still on a relatives Farm Narth of Ipswich and due to badly damaging my knee in a bike accident is reluctantly up for sale.
It is complete, the guy I bought it from (up in Whitby)had owned Plus 1 number 2 at a time a good decade back, when it and number 1 were on Apollo Duck, Apparantly I was given to believe t owner of number1 in Yarmouth was agreeable to my off of £550 and I had specially gone into Colchester to get a light board for my trailer, he then rang to say he had sold it for more than agreed price to a club member oop in Narfolk.
The Whitby chap, a friend of Keith Kallaghan was much more straightforward, and I was looking forward to sailing the racing dinghy.
Anyways it just needs a flap one side , has a very good combi trailer, trolley which she sat on nicely all the way back from Whitby.
£350 the lot no offers.NOW SOLD

Finn has a very low boom Chris - being tall you may find tacking rather awkward. I'd recommend trying it out first.

Hi Chris
It's areal myth that the Finn has a low boom. The mast bends which brings the boom close to the deck when sheeted hard in. However once uncleated as when tacking the mast straightens lifting the boom. Several Finn Sailors are 6ft plus and have no problems. There's an old one at Roadford going free if anyone wants it. Only needs a sail I'll give you one to get it going. Not one of mine ask Roadford Outdoor and Active about it. Needs the fittings bolted back on some ropes and small repairs to the rudder, hull is GRP sound, thought to be a Pearson. Number is I think 238 boat name is Tiger. Once owned in the 70's by a friend who raced it at Mayflower before moving up country and taking it with him.
Cheers Al

Hi Alan, thought that might be the case.

I've just bought John's old Finn K123, but thanks for letting me know about the one at Roadford.

I will probably need an Ali mast and sail though as this one still has the original wooden mast which looks like it needs a bit of tlc.

Cheers,

Well done Chris, that's great news! Agree with Alan re the boom, looks low but so long as you don't use the kicker upwind and maybe let a bit off before gybing no problem! Good luck with it!

Hi Alan,

I'm suffering loss of Finn at the moment and need another fix......What's the mast on the one at Roadford, has it been abandoned?
