Stealth

Post by Nessa »

Not an old boat but also not new, not lost because I doubt it was ever found, like a low rider moth but too big. Unlikely to win prizes except for the most orange boat ever seen. Can I bring it to cvrda events?

Oh, and no known py either.

Yes! Bring it!

I've proved that orangeness, and not-lost-because-never-found-ness are not an issue!!

We'll just give you the PY of a Moth and everything will be fine...

Is this the Woods Stealth? (There's an foreign interloper by the same name) If so I remember RW bringing the prototype up to Starcross to sail. Radical looking boat for that time.

Just looked it up on the Woods design page - is that the orange boat in question? Looks great

I'm sure you'd be welcome to bring her along to play, but the boat is rather too new even for lost classes to race, where in theory the design should be from 1985 or older. It would depend on the organiser, though.

Modern lost classes need a spiritual home somewhere - those great ideas from 1985 to date that just never made it.
Even some SMODs are now unmentioned and unloved by their manufacturer!
