Side decks conundrum

Post by XQSME »

Morning all.
I am restoring a Fireball now (thanks Stewart) and obviously want to make a nice job. One end of the side deck has cracked varnish and Def needs to go back to the wood, the other end is just fine.

In the interests of economy, if I sand one end go back to the wood at the other, will the result be a nasty looking "join" or bump half way up the varnish? Thanks

Good call...

and saves me from writing a few para trying to think of a tactful way of saying: "Do it all - you will regret it if you don't"
