Hopefully I shall put her on the water for the first time again in many years this sunday.
If you want to take a look at before and after shots goto http://www.barlowharps.demon.co.uk/mast/albindex.html

If anyone has any knowledge or history of 1576 (built 1963-4)
I would love to know.
Chris

So that's the concours prize for 2007 blown again!! Absolutely stunning job Chris as ever. Puts Gannet in a very shady place.

yes, the sails have arrived. Even I wouldn't bother to go sailing if they hadn't! Unfortunately the last digit is upside down and reads 1579 rather than 1576 but I have that sorted now.

So then Chris, do you still think she looks like a 'Victorian Bathtub'?

Reminds me of a Lark that used to sail on the circuit some years ago, It had LRAK on one side of the sail.

But yes, that's another fine m.... masterpiece you've gotten us into.

Regards

Nick

PS Look out for Frensham details, coming soon !!!

Well she was launched and sailed yesterday in very squally conditions and she looked fantastic. As usual Chris has done a spectacular job on her and you could tell where they were on the lake by the noise of those very new sails.
Well done Chris yet another beautiful boat for the collection.

Ok Roger, what do you want mending now!!??

Yes I very nearly tested the bouyancy but just saved a capsize and took on enough water to test the bailers instead. Up to that point I was begining to think How odd to sail a dry boat.
