I actually won my first ever race in Doh-Nut on Sunday - and on the water at that, ahead of an RS 600, 1/2 a lap clear of an EPS, lapping a Wayfarer, L2000, Solo (mine, borrowed) and GP14 in 2 laps sailed...Can you guess what the wind was like?!

Fatboyfinn hopes to be there - book me place at the camp site this time.

See you there Andy.

P.S. Roger - do you want me to speak to Tim about those Hornet sails?

Crew needed

Post by keithr »

I will be bringing the "Peggyball" down to Shearwater but I have no crew, are there any brave souls out there who would like to crew for me.

I have trapeze harness and will have everything fastened back together by then!!!!.

Greg the planker has a hole in the bouyancy tank at the moment but if you dont mind dick tape you are welcome. Be aware Hornet and shearwater dont go if its windy. Be prepared to swim.
If you are trying to persuade Zara that planking is the way forward then dont take her out at Shearwater.

Shearwater

Post by alan williams »

Chris, Roger , Lyn and John
Regretfully cannot take up offer of the loan of a Merlin Chris as my mother has been seriously ill and we have been driving up to Wales most weekends. This has not only lead to us being Knackeerd but also to neglect of own boats and helping out with the FD. So I'm cryying off and hopefully getting on with all the things I need to do at home, unless I get another urgent call to go up to Wales.
Thanks for the offer Chris and I hope to take you up on it next time.
