must be an old wooden mast?

the top one is for the boom

the bottom one takes a pipe that holds at other end a 'claw' attachement that went over boom to hold kicker.

This normally went as part and parcel with the automatic reeffing gear on the boom.

hope that makes sense.

cheers

Thanks,Ed. I asked you the same question in a pm last week, but I guess you never got it. I figured it must have something to do with the reefing gear. Would anybody have a picture of the set-up so I can see if I have any of the bits in the box that came with the boat?

Thanks,
Scott

might be easier if you put a photo up of the bits you have and I will tell you what they are and where they go.

I don't have a mast fitted with the roller reafing at moment and havn't had since I was a child. But I have seen it more recently, but don't think I have any photos.

cheers
