I have been told that G4 is a better alternative to using epoxy to sort out very dodgy old wooden hulls but I can't find out anything about it. Any advice, information, suppliers, technical info welcome please.
Thanks,
Chris
What is G4?
Quite uncanny.....
I was going to ask the same question a few days ago after I found it advertised in a broch
ure I got from a local glass-fibre supplier.
Can't find the details at moment, but as soon as I do I will post.
it sounded wonderful.....rather like a woodseal or primer type product. You can use it as the start of a varnishing system....or as a bonding coat between various substrates and a resin.....for instance metal to polyester, which is notoriously bad.
Very thin....also good for stablising wood as you said.
I will try and find the brochure or URL and post to list
cheers

Which from that description makes it sound very much like Blakes Woodseal/single pack poly/UCP....which would be nice...
