Well blow me down! The ancient Merlin lot are to sail at Cookham Reach SC so I had a gander at their website and in the history section is a pic of their fleet of Snipes 12's and Merlins and amongst them is my old Uffa King. I have sent a note to their Commodore who is going to post a note to see if anyone remembers the old thing. Nice shot of under canvased Snipes and an interesting means of coveyance to and from your boat. Ah, those were the days of doffing caps and due defference!
