Having a nice sail tomorrow
Well the weather looks good.
Warm and a 15, gusting up to 27, mph wind an Saturday.
Looks promising if I can find myself a heavy enough crew.......
Hope every has the opportunity to enjoy thier boats this weekend.

Re: Having a nice sail tomorrow
GRRRRRRRRRRR. not fair. next year perhaps.
Re: Having a nice sail tomorrow
Hopefully it's pimp my boat time. Good clean up for the Albacore and fetch Half Cut home from Shearwater. Plus a trip to the Hamble area for trailer bits (Towsure/Indespension) and computer bits (Novatech)
Can't sail unless we go to Poole or somewhere - no Shearwater licence and they've taken most of the water out of Cheddar - it's full of weed, as we found out when trying the Albacore with a rudder that was stuck permanently in the down position and a stiff centreboard
Have fun those who are sailing.

Best and the worst...
Good forecast of sun and wind
Compulsory that I stay out on the water all day
Day out pass stamped
Stuck in rescue boat and boat stuck on land

Another grrr..
My arm has been getting worse since damaging it at Clywedog, and trying to ignore the pain to sail in the Masters. I've had to accept I will probably not be able to sail again until next year.

Sorry to hear the arm is still bad, Peter. If my shoulders are anything to go by, rest and physio were the only answers.

No sun here! Is it me or are the forecasts getting less and less accurate?
No water either. The tides are wrong at Shirehampton so nothing but mud.

Re: Having a nice sail tomorrow
Well, I suppose the advantage of lake (gravel pit) sailing is that the tide never goes out....And its not a reservoir so the water company won't empty it either!
I did manage to get on the plane today with the old Merlin a few times, but the wind that was forcast never really arrived...Must n't grumble though, by the sounds of things!
Still, had me fun today, tomorrow I will be mostly working on the camper van A long job, but hopefully be ready for the spring, so I can do more away events.

I had a very pleasant sail in J9 with a new crew, very good he was too.
