This boat was up for sale a few times last year. For some reason it didn't sell. I was interested in it back then but apparently it has no sail number as it was never registered.

I will be keeping an eye on this despite the distance it is from me.

I was having a look at the photo's of this on ebay and I am not convinced it is a Skippy 2 (well it could be a modified Skippy 2)

Here are my reasons for this - The bow certainly looks like a Skippy 2 (no flares etc) however the peak of the bow/foredeck looks more rounded on this boat than the sharp finish I have seen on other Skippy 2's. The other thing that is throwing me slightly is that the picture of the stern shows that this boat has a pintail stern. From the pictures I have seen of other Skippy 2's the stern is hard chined and flat.

Can anyone confirm my findings?

Could this be a part Skippy 1 and part Skippy 2 design??

Any insight anyone has would be very useful.

Thanks

Gary

I think it would be worth viewing first as it has sold a few times (he even has positive feedback from last time!) but obviously the deals have not gone through. I got outbid last time before I bought mine so got that instead, but would have had that one if i could of. Hope it goes well and someone on here gets it as it would be nice to have even more moths :D

I've contacted the seller for more pics and details, but are there any members in the area that could scope it out for me?

I am just shy of 400miles away from this so viewing is also not an option for me.

I have also contacted the seller for further information to clarify a few things.
