Thanks for the tips. A definite learning curve. I think I might try taking the main sheet off the boom though I guess then you can't cleat it ? Alternatively double block plus cleat at forward end of carriage to leave aft area clear. First got to fix it...

Hi Mike,

I'm very interested to know if you've had any progress on the old IC, since you last posted?

With regard to off the boom sheeting (if this isn't too add...) I am not sure if anyone does it apart from the occasional self tacker system (but only for the jib) set up on a Maas IC over in the states, and I think there may be one in Germany too.

But Rob Michael might be the best person to contact in regard to rigging and set ups on an IC of this sort of vintage (his contact details are over on the IC class website).
