Humidity

Post by XQSME »

Morning all.
Looking on line, guidance as to what is too humid ranges from 50 to 80% relative humidity.

Boat is in a workshop which will be dry and still but does have gaps around the base and permanent ventilation slots in the roof.

So, any guidance appreciated...

Assuming a conventional 1 part varnish you should be ok in all but fog and heavy rain. 80% humidity is quite high and the manufacturers normally allow a bit of slack in their figures.
