My Flipper Scow is a bit weird*... It has a spine down the full length of the cockpit from which the toestraps hang...
Like this:
Apologies for the big pic!
I'd like to make them stand away from the spine so I can get my toes under them easily, without stretching elastic across to the side tanks...
Any ideas?

I fitted straps just off edges, you put feet under opposite straps, you could put nearer centre and use that way.

Hmmm.. fine if you know where there's a hard point to screw into...
I'm thinking about stiffening the straps with wire... net curtain wire for example....

You can form your own fixing point using "Peel pop's", 4 nice blocks of varnished wood or ally plates.
Re: Toestrap ideas please...
Put hard foam blocks front and back of case and use them to hold the straps out. Take a look at the X1 to see how it holds them off the floor.

I've threaded the toe straps through tennis balls on Unskol. Seems OK so far, but have only sailed once since doing it.
