Thank you, Mark, Karen and Mary for an excellent day of close, exciting racing. With 5 lead changes in the 1st race, and the 2nd placed boat overtaking 3 boats in the last minute of the pursuit, things couldn't have been tighter.
The next races were pretty tight too - nowhere is a lead more uncertain than at Chippenham...
On the shore things carried on in their normal relaxed way, in the way only a small river club can manage, with the start line 10 feet from the bar...
Looking forward to seeing the photos and reading the report!

Yep thanks Mark Karen and Mary. Great fun and very close racing. Thanks Mark for the loan of your boat. Tired but happy.
