Also known as 2.4 metre. Singlehanded keelboat built to a metre formula. The helm sits down in the boat facing forward with all the controls within arms reach, the sailing is not physically demanding and racing is done in one open class with men, women, young and old, able bodied and disabled sailors racing together. In 2000 the 2.4 was adopted as the single handed Paralympic class.
