| Notes | A class of sturdy centreboard boats developed as more rugged sailing canoes for use on the Humber estuary. The boat illustrated first appeared in the Humber Yawl Club yearbook in 1904. Although the boat was built by James Holmes of Hornsea she is very similar to the Humber Yawls that were being designed by George Holmes and Albert Strange. |
