Following several requests from 'new' interested Classic boat sailors, We thought we'd better explain a bit about who we are and how we work;

The cvrda is an association with no members? That is to say any one is welcome to come along to any of our events as long as your boat qualifies! (25+ years old and of a class designed before 1965).

We sail and race because we enjoy it and because it is often difficult to sail and compete against newer boats, and stand a chance of winning. As stated else where on this site we sail using a flexable cvrda handicap system, weighted in favour of those with older masts, sails etc.
