Fun event and Cruise

taking a ride on the tide and cruise on the upper tamar reaches

Tamar River

Possible date is the Easter b/hol

Will depend on getting a good tide

- there is the possibility of putting this event on over the Easter Bank Holiday. We have been invited to take part with the 'Classic and Working Boat Festival' at Morwhellam Quay. This could be tons of fun as there is lots of music and stuff. If you are interested, get in touch soonish!

ed@cvrda.org

- a new one for the calendar this year and bit of a trial to see if the idea works

- dependent on tide and weather, we would set out from either Weir Quay, Cothele or Calstock and run up with the tide to try and make it to Morwhellam Quay for lunch or tea.

- If you are interested in taking part in this cruise, please do get in touch as soon as possible as we will see what the demand is before we make any certain plans.

- Not sure yet whether this could be made into a two day event or whether it would be best to stick to just the one day.

Costs

- this will be a low-key event, so I don't expect it to cost much, maybe a quid or two to go towards petrol for the support boats.

Accomodation

- I might be able to find some camping if anyone wants it, otherwise their are plenty of B&Bs around.

Further Information

- When we get some more details, we will post them here.
