Baltic Wharf, Bristol Docks

April 19th 2008

- Bristol Harbour is a small sailing area, but not as small as some! It is the old Avon river before being turned into hanging harbour by Brunel. Width is around 80-110 metres. Flying Fifteens are welcome, we know there's enough water on the slip because we had one sailing here for a couple of years.

Costs

- not known yet but normally very small

Further Information

3 races again, a head of harbour, a handicap race and then a pursuit. Briefing will be at 1030 with the first race at 1100.

All followed by a meal in the adjacent Cottage Inn.

- There are currently no parking charges at Baltic Wharf, so a good place to leave car and take ferry into centre of town for a walk
