The Vintage Regatta is the Thames Sailing Clubs premier
annual sailing event. The Thames sailing club established in 1887
is the oldest river racing club in the country.
The club is steeped in sailing history; we still use the original
Victorian clubhouse and it is the home of the mighty Thames A
Raters. They will be sailing in their own class but expect to
see all of the 8 currently restored wooden raters sailing, many
of which are 100 years old.
On the Saturday evening we will be holding our summer party to
which we warmly welcome all regatta competitors. This usually
features a lavish spread and live music.
Costs
Costs TBD but will be in line with other CVRDA events.
