The Whitefriars Classic and Lost Classes event will be held on March 28th. Lost Classes (those without a class association) designed before 1985 are welcome, as well as boats built before 1985 and of a class designed before 1965

Shearwater event
The Shearwater event was a gusty day dominated by the larger, heavier double handed boats. Several visitors joined a strong local turnout for some good racing.
Roadford 10th Anniversary National Regatta
The 10th anniversary nationals were held at Roadford Lake in Devon over the August Bank Holiday weekend . Over thirty cvrda boats attended as well as another forty for the Goodacre Cup making for a lively weekend. Thanks to Ross and the team for all their work which was appreciated by all

The Travellers' Trophy and Most Travelled prizes were also awarded, this year both went to Chris and Lois Barlow. Full Travellers Series reults
Annual General Meeting
This was held at the Roadford National Regatta and was well attended.The proposed constitution changes were agreed by the meeting and Garry Rucklidge was elected to the committee as Membership Secretary and Rupert Whelan as Fixtures and Publicity Officer

Thames S.C. 18-19 July
Thanks to Thames S.C, for a friendly and enjoyable if somewhat gusty day. Full report and results to follow
Bough Beech received visitors from as far afield as Frome and Norwich to enjoy the light breeze and beautiful weather. Report and results here.

Thanks to Baltic Wharf Club in Bristol Docks for our cvrda travellers event. Fine weather and an easterly breeze produced some good racing. Results and report here
Whitefriars Classic and Lost Class event brought out some unusual boats with a Tonic, a Pisces and a Beachcomber making their cvrda debuts. Also sailing were several traditional cvrda boats including a newly restored Firefly and Iska (Merlin 6) restored to a 25ft rig. Full report and results here.
