Sula now desperate for Rescue

Jollyboat_sula_7_sm_

Jollyboat Sula is still looking for a good home.

She is free for anybody who wants to just come and pick her up. All I would like is to see this wonderful old Jollyboat brought back to life. It would be quite possible to do so, but I don’t pretend that it wouldn’t be quite a big job.

If you would like to know more, please do just look at the photos at: http://bit.ly/imxj2l

and get in touch with me as soon as possible.

She really won’t last another winter.

I went up to look at Sula this evening and I am afraid that the damage is now far worse than I had realised.

I have to admit that I now don’t think Sula is a viable re-build.

Of course, being a Fairey hull…..it could always be ‘fixed’ but I just don’t think it is still worth it…..

So….I fear it will be a viking burial…

Not the first to go…..and certainly won’t be the last, but still an awful pity!

Sula RIP 🙁

South East Cornwall – near River Tamar, between Tavistock and Plymouth.

She is really very damp and soft now….but if you are interested, please do get back to me on ed(at)cvrda.org
