I'm trying to find a good home for my late Dad's sailing dinghy.
The 9 foot pram dinghy was built by my Dad and Grandfather in the 1950’s to a design by W. M. Blake in the November 1932 edition (No319) of The Yachting Monthly. The construction method used is the Ashcroft System, which is a simple method of laminated boat construction.
The boat has not been sailed for forty years and has spent most of that time suspended from the garage ceiling. The mast and boom, etc are present. There is also a trailer. The boat needs some attention but I believe it is fundamentally sound.
If someone is interested in having the dinghy and getting it sailing again then please get in touch for more details. The boat is located in Coulsdon, Surrey.
