Clywedog - Tempest

Looking ahead to 2025 or 2026 if I'm unlucky. I've put a tempest back in time and made it lift-keel again, in an effort to access more water. However, there is always 'Maximum length' rules to tangle with before setting out - a tempest is LOA 22 feet, so beyond Roadford's 20 feet limit, for example.
So a question for I think Keith, would a tempest as above be ok for the CVRDA event, assuming there's no drought etc.
Sailed the 1st Massacre event on Bala in 1994 with a fixed keel tempest (99+% are)- a pontoon next to the slip made launching practical, where as the photos I've seen of Clywedog has the slip away from the pontoon.

Thanks

Hi

Our jetty is only a few yards from slip and deep water so no problem with your tempest.

We sail fifteens every weekend and have a winch to recover.

Hi Keith. Thanks for response. With the keel up it would be easy, and in that state the boat draws much less than a Flying 15. Keel down without an immediately adjacent jetty, recovery onto a road trailer is more of a challenge in anything but calm conditions as per any fixed keel boat. Below shows the difference between keel up & down on the tempest. Thanks
