Sailing is giving me up - old age and all that so:
My Pacer dinghy - 2132 I think(?) is probably going to be available to a good home.
It’s all GRP apart from the hardwood thwarts / rudder / centreboard (all stripped back and epoxied). White hull / grey interior. Outboard pad built in.
Good Caws main and Genoa in lovely dark blue plus spare heavy weather main with reefing points and another genoa.
All nice and tidy, I’ve fitted a furling foresail setup and a single pole spinnaker system (with an ex Miracle spinnaker in red / green) which I can manage on my own in light conditions. All very colourful
Things I would do if I could get around to it. Fit the slot gasket and self bailers which I’ve had for ages, fit some better cleats for the (cascade) kicker. Improve the tiller restraint which lets me go forward to fit the pole. Nice carbon tiller extension courtesy of the fishing section at the local tip…….
It has an excellent galvanised trolley with removable jockey wheel - I’ve replaced all the bolts with stainless and fitted puncture proof wheels. Nice heavy duty Banks cover which should be good for years. Anchor.
I paid a couple of hundred a few years back and spent that and a bit more on all the new bits. I’m not looking to recoup all that just a fair offer and the all important ‘good home’. It would be nice to see it raced, it planes easily (supposedly hull weight is around 60kg) and is very stable.
Bad bits - no trailer but CVRDA people have contacts! Bit of corrosion around main halyard bottom sheave but it’s been repaired (well bodged anyway) and hasn’t fallen down on me yet - it’s not exactly the most over tensioned rig.
