DESCRIPTION: \n\nJust under a week left until our visit to beautiful Roadf
 ord Lake. As well as glorious sailing\, the Barbecue is now FREE!\n\nRoadf
 ord is one of the best lakes in the UK for sailing\, and the welcome is al
 ways warm\, so why not get a late pass and come on down for a long weekend

 day 30h May 2011 \nTo be held at:\nRoadford Lake Sailing Club\, Goodacre 
 Farm\, Broadwoodwidger. Lifton\, Devon.\nPL16 0JL\n\n1) Organising Authori
 ty:\nThe Organising Authority is\nRoadford Lake Sailing Club in conjunctio
 n with the CVRDA\n\n2) Rules:\n2.1 The regatta will be governed by The Rac
 ing Rules Sailing 2009-2012\, the prescriptions of the RYA\, Association\,
  this N.O.R. and the Supplementary Sailing Instructions.\n\n3) Eligibility
  and Entry:\nThe regatta is open to all persons having craft eligible as d
 efined by the CVRDA and being members of the Assoc. Association fee’s ca
 n be paid on entry. Eligible boats may pre enter by completing the entry f
 orm available from the RLSC and sending it the address given. This will gr
 eatly assist us in pre organising the event and matching resources to entr
 y numbers.\n\nEntrants and authorised guests are temporary members of Road
 ford Lake Sailing Club during the period of the event and shall comply wit
 h Club Rules and Bylaws.\n\n4) Entry fee:\nThe entry fee will be £30.00. 
 Entries can be made by post or email before the event (preferred)\, or at 
 registration at the times stated below.\n\n5) Registration:\nThis will tak
 e place in the Race Office from 17:00 - 20:00 hrs on Friday 28th May and f
 rom 08:00 - 10:00 hrs Saturday 29th May. Late entries are acceptable.\n\n6
 ) Briefing:\nThis will take place at 13.30 hrs in the area of the lakeside
  hut on Saturday 29ththMay.\n\n Schedule of Races:\n\nMonday Time of Warni
 ng Signal\nRace 1 10.00hrs\n\nThe Warning signal will be the CVRDA Flag. T
 he Race Committee may bring forward a race or races but there will be no m
 ore than 3 races per day. Any change to the schedule of races will be made
  before 19:00 hrs on the preceding day. There will be no warning signal af
 ter 15:00 hrs on the last day except for a general recall.\n\n9) Sailing a
 rea and courses:\nThe sailing area will be on Roadford Lake. Courses saile
 d will be around Club buoys. With the first leg being started from a Commi
 ttee boat . Start line will be between Committee boat and adjacent mark. F
 inish will be between adjacent mark and Committee Boat.\n\n10) Sailing Ins
 tructions:\nThese will be available from the Race Office on completion of 
 registration or from the RLSC website\n\n11) Scoring:\nThree completed rac
 es are required to constitute a series. One discard will apply if between 
 4 and 6 races are completed and two discards if 7 races are completed.\n\n
 12) Safety and Disclaimer of Liability:\n12.1 A competitor is responsible 
 for their own safety\, whether afloat or ashore and nothing\, whether in t
 he Notice of Race or Sailing instructions or anywhere else reduces this re
 sponsibility.\n\n12.2 It is for the competitor to decide whether they are 
 fit to sail in the conditions. By going afloat the competitor confirms the
 y are fit and competent to sail and compete in those conditions.\n\n12.3 N
 othing done by the organisers can reduce the liability of the competitor n
 or will it make the organisers responsible for any loss\, damage\, death o
 r personal injury\, however it may occur\, as a result of the boat taking 
 part in the series. The organisers encompass everyone helping to run the r
 ace and include the organising authority\, the race committee\, the race o
 fficer\, patrol boats and beach masters.\n\n12.4 The provision of patrol b
 oats does not relieve the competitor of his/her responsibilities.\n\n12.5 
 Each boat is required to hold adequate insurance and in particular against
  third party claims of at least £2\,000\,000.\n\n13) Boat Parking:\nBoats
  should be left in the boat park\, or as directed by a member of the event
  organising team.\n\n14) Car Parking:\nCars should be parked in the car pa
 rk as directed. No cars in the boat park please.\n\n15) Prize-giving:\nThi
 s will be in the area of the Watersports Centre as soon as possible after 
 completion of racing onMonday.\n\n16) Changes to Sailing Instructions:\nAl
 l changes will be posted at least one hour before the start of the race(s)
