Tornado SportUK

Double handed fast catamaran designed by Rodney March with help from Reg White, which gained International status in 1967 and was used for the Olympics for many years beginning when Reg White and John Osborn won gold for Great Britain in 1976 in the Tornado.
Originally single trapeze for crew, it became twin trapeze in 2001 when it also was given a new, larger sail plan with a square top mainsail, a self-tacking jib and a spinnaker.
