Clinker built class built at Burnham on Crouch, Essex for the Royal Burnham YC for their cadets. Now also built in GRP.
The Burnham Scows are based on the West Wight Scows and Alan Buchanan, who moved to Burnham around 1952, redrew the lines somewhat to produce the Royal Burnham Yacht Club’s own scow class
