Like the Waldringfield Dragonfly class, the Christchurch Dragonfly is based on the Irish Dinghy Racing Association 14ft design by G O’Brien Kennedy.
There were six boats built and they were sailed at Christchurch Sailing Club between 1949 and 1951.
