Current CVRDA Handicap Ratings
Classic wing: 80
(Alloy mast, Dacron sail)
Old wing: 79
(Alloy mast, Dacron sail)

An active class with a distinctive sliding seat and rules dictating that the boat must be pointed at both bow and stern.
There are three divisions within the class since the Nethercott design was adopted as a one-design in the 1971 but the class in 2009 decided to become development again and also since the late 1990s, an asymmetric masthead spinnaker option has been available so the divisions of One-Design, Development and Asymmetric were established. Canoes with asymmetrics carry a large letter A on the mainsail.
