Eleven 21′ Yarmouth OD open keelboats were built before the first world war (1912 – 1913) by Theo Smith at Yarmouth IOW. Two further boats were built by Woodnutts in 1929 bringing the total up to 13. Of these, two are know to have sunk, one is in restoration and two are missing,
