The light wind forecast for Saturday may have put off some travellers but those who coped with the light stuff were rewarded with good and increasing winds on Sunday.
Note: For this event which was combined with the Lowrider Moths, we trialled a 4 digit handicap system which multiplied the normal 2 digit CVRDA handicaps by 11.89. The Lowriders have a set of 4 digit handicaps and this factor aligned the two sets of handicaps for the 1960s and 1970s Moths which are CVRDA eligible. This enabled the race officer at Weston to enter the results along with the other fleets of club boats.
